About Eagle Pro Heating - Cooling - Insulation (Formerly Murphy Heating and Cooling)
Heat pump service is the company's core focus. Heat pumps move heat rather than generating it, which makes them efficient in Alabama's mild seasons but also means they need careful attention. Typical work includes installing new systems, diagnosing performance problems, and completing routine maintenance. A technician may inspect the outdoor unit and indoor air handler, check refrigerant levels, test electrical connections and controls, clean coils, and confirm that the defrost cycle and auxiliary heat operate as intended.
The service area centers on Huntsville and Madison, two communities in north Alabama that share a similar climate. Humidity during warm months can strain a system's ability to keep indoor air comfortable, while occasional freezes in winter challenge units that rely on heat pump operation. Local knowledge of these conditions helps explain why a system that works well one season may need adjustment the next.
Anyone comparing local options should look beyond price alone. Ask about the scope of the work, how problems will be explained, and what follow-up support is available. Reviewing a few local providers side by side is a practical way to find the right fit. For a convenient starting point, HVAC Service Fast helps homeowners compare HVAC contractors near them.
