Cooling/heating demand = annual degree days (NOAA). Electricity = state residential average (EIA).
The company's work covers AC Services, Heating Services, Ductwork Services, Heat Pumps, Furnace Services, Thermostat Services, Emergency HVAC, and Maintenance & Tune-up. A typical AC visit may include checking refrigerant levels, cleaning coils, inspecting electrical connections, and testing airflow at the vents. Heating and furnace calls often focus on ignition systems, burners, heat exchangers, and safety controls. Ductwork inspections look for leaks, poor insulation, and restricted runs that quietly waste energy.
San Diego's mild coastal climate still places real demands on heating and cooling equipment. Summer inland temperatures can climb well above the coastal average, while damp marine air can accelerate corrosion on outdoor units. Proluxe Mechanical works with these local conditions in mind, recommending tune-ups before peak seasons and reviewing thermostat settings that help households manage comfort and energy costs.
Proluxe Mechanical holds California contractor license #1118878 and has been licensed since 2024. Anyone comparing local HVAC pros should ask for a written estimate, confirm the license number with the state contractor registry, and review the scope of work before approving any repair or replacement.
